In addition to being a mental health counselor, I also have over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. I spent many years working for a national, billion-dollar insurer in a multitude of roles in utilization management, project management, prior authorization, appeals and grievances, product development, RFP proposal writing, operations, and medical cost savings. Recently, my experience has been more specific to working with start-up companies at various stages, focusing on product development, system implementation, hiring and training, setting up contact centers, and focusing on the customer experience. I have a passion for helping people and love developing new products to improve the health and well-being of others as well as helping other companies achieve their goals to impact the healthcare system.
