When working with children and preteens, I tend to use an integrative approach to therapy that includes aspects of art therapy, play therapy, several cognitive behavioral therapies, and role playing to accomplish the following:

- Teach coping skills to help deal with difficult situations
- Learn problem-solving skills to avoid conflict and difficult situations
- Empower your child to feel more confident and in control of their emotions and behavior
- Enhance skills to develop and maintain social relationships
- Develop healthy communication skills
